W-USB is primarily designed to provide the same simplicity, ease of use and flexibility as a USB with the addition of wireless technology. It works on the USB 2.0 and further specifications. W-USB uses ultra wideband radio waves to communicate and transfer data wirelessly. It enables supported devices such as peripheral devices, computers and laptops to achieve high data speeds in close proximity. W-USB can achieve speeds of up to 480 Mbps in a 9-foot range and 110 Mbps within 30-foot range.
